Hooray! My first full blog since, well, let’s just say it’s been awhile. My plan for the winter is to show you all the stuff I’ve been storing away for the cold, slow months ahead. There are a couple of weddings, a baby, another afterglow session, an engagement session & a few family sessions too. Hopefully I’ll be getting some energy back in a few weeks & I can get some more up here. Keep your fingers crossed for me, ‘k?
What better way to start off 2010 than with the amazingly awesome Nicki? I had so much fun on this photoshoot, that it almost made me decide to do only afterglow sessions from now on. But then I realized that most of the fun was Nicki herself & Robin too of course, who tagged along & held Nicki’s coat for her in between shots. Nicki was up for anything, including potential trespassing (shhhh….) & braving the frigid water, just to get some cool shots. So, yeah, you could say we got along. Here are the links to her two sneak peeks, just in case you forgot – 1 & 2. Also, make sure & watch the slideshow, ’cause it’s the first one I’ve ever custom timed myself. Impressive, huh? ;)
ps–the shoot was at Trader’s Point Creamery & they couldn’t have been nicer!
One of Nicki’s favorites….

Sooo, as I was posing Nicki for this shot, I know for a fact she thought I was crazy. Luckily she trusted me when I told her that it may be uncomfortable, but it looked totally natural &, oh yeah, AWESOME!

The sun only peeked out a couple of times

All I’m going to say about this is that Nicki is a brave, brave girl. Oh yeah & I freaking love this picture!

You can’t be on a farm & not have a tractor in at least one shot….

Seriously, could she be working it any harder? Rock. On.

Nicki’s favorite. I’ll admit, I’m pretty partial to it myself…

Pretty, pretty, pretty….

LOVE it.

FYI, this was in October & it was FREEZING!

See, I’ll bet her dress isn’t nearly as trashed as you would’ve expected it to be, now is it?
